Soundwise.co.uk cease trading?

I’m sorry to say that I have received two complaints about non-reciprocation of emails from Glenn at soundwise.co.uk. I have also email Glenn and I’ve received no reply. I have to assume that Soundwise.co.uk is no longer trading. Until I receive any information I’m afraid I’m as much in the dark as you are. However as an avid supporter of soundwise.co.uk I apologise for any inconvenienced caused.

    Hi Matt,

    How are you?

We have not ceased trading. Everything still going well. We did/are have problems with our hosting company. They have been mucking about since we took legal action to reclaim money over charging. Don’t ever go near http://www.streamline.net We will completly move hosting very soon even though we still have over a years worth of hosting left.

I am sorry if I have missed peoples emails.

    Glenn

I’m not sure if Soundwise is no longer trading, or if they are fraudulent traders. I bought some headphones from them in Jan, but was not satisfied with the quality. As agreed with Glenn by email, I sent them back for an exchange. The replacements never arrived, and I have emailed Glenn at least 3 or 4 times to ask about the situation. I have never received a reply (let alone the replacements, much less a refund).

We have policy to refund or replace any product within 14 days of purchase. All a customer needs to do is write an email within 14 days to say they wish to return. Then return within a reasonable time. Once an item is returned we issue a refund or replacement within a week(usually within 48 hours). For replacements we don’t charge postage.

I have no record of what you state here. I would not be able to do this under UK law. If you read our terms and conditions they are straight forward and increase your rights as a consumer. I am 100% in favour of consumer rights.

I beleive I operate in an open and fair way and am always legal and above board. I do not pay for advertising and rely on word of mouth from happy customers.

You can check your legal rights at http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Governmentcitizensandrights/Consumerrights/index.htm

I bought earphones and they stopped working 6 months later. I emailed and had a response 2 days later asking me to return. About a week later I had a new pair.

I do a lot of online shopping and its one of the easiest returns I have made.

Thanks for your review. I am now,as I write, happily using a pair of Soundwise M8. I had no problems ordering. I got an email to confirm purchase, then one a day later to confirm dispatch. I read these comments just after purchasing and was a little worried. But they got my order out no problem and I am happy with purchase.

I have emailed Glenn @ soundwise 5 times about my faulty earphones with no reply :C

He was brilliant when I ordered two pairs last July but no reply to emails over last month or so – running out of time to return them too!
