In my fuming anger at the seller goal.electric, I have accidentally given goal.electric a possitive mark for his feedback. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m soooooo sorry. I guess I have my mind set on my holiday.

Good news

I’ve bought another pair from the seller, and don’t worry, I’ll get him this time. Imagine what the comment will say. “I’ve bougth two pairs of ATH-FW3 headphones and they’re both fake.” However there’s a leeson to learn from this. 1) don’t write your feedback in anger, and just having woken up from less than 4 hours sleep. 2) You have to keep and eye on the feedback. 100% doesn’t mean much. For the time being, fakeheadphones.com backs mymemeory.co.uk as the official supplier of Genuine Sennheiser CX200, CX300 and CX400 (including MK II variants). You all pick up on things that I never even think of checking. for example, cwongtech (a new forum member) has noticed diferences not only with the Sennheiser CX300 II pouch, but with the metal strip inside the pouch. Is cwongtech good or what?

Just to let you know that I’ve got hold of a pair of Genuine ATH-FW3 headphones, many thanks to Audio Technica UK. I’ve just ordered what I think is a pair of fakes. Being a cheapskate, I bought the cheapest examples I could find, as is often the way with so many people when looking for a good price deal. Unfortunately what most don’t realise it that they fall prey to the counterfeit market! Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been a done it as well. I bought some really cheap headphones, thinking that I was getting a good deal, not realising that there were such things as counterfeit headphones. I thought the counterfeit market just produced fake Calvin Klein clothing, fake designer watches and the odd bit of Fake Tiffanys jewellery.

However since the boom in MP3 players, the headphone market has become as important as the MP3 market itself, and Audio Technica has been hit hard. I would hasten to say they have been hit as hard as Sennheiser!

100% Positive feedback, We’ll soon change that!

So goal.electric has got 100%positive feedback. Well, we’ll see about that!

Audio Technica are being hit by the counterfeit market left, right and center (or centre as we say in the UK).

Just to let you know in the near future, (this month) there will be a new Audio Technica ATH-FW3 comparison. Although some of you might not have heard much about Audio Technica, in Asia they are a massive seller. The tiny ATH-ON3 has been a big hit, and so the counterfeit market has moved in swiftly.

Have you ever considered that the reason your Audio Technica headphones sound so bad, is because they’re fake?

A quick look on headphonesale.co.uk, one can see the scale of the problem. Those familiar with fakeheadphones.com knows that the ATH-ESW9 headphones retail for a sub £350 mark.

However since many wish to scrimp and save on a few dollars, they inevitably fall prey to bad quality copies. What’s the point in wasting your hard earned, for something that sounds that bad? I’ll let you know what’s happening regarding the FW3 review. After the ATH-ON3 headphones, which I’ve had for years now, I’m dying to try the newbies (ATH-FW3). All I gotta do is choose the colour. You think pink would suit me?

lsmart100 is trying to get into another market, and slowly but surely these smart mp4 players are replacing the listing for fake gear. lsmart100 has ceased all sales of fake Sennheiser CX earphones, and the rest is slowly coming to an end. Change will take time.

I’m trying to convince lsmart100 to start an account with Sennheiser, so he can be our official Sennheiser dealer. Image it, our own Sennheiser dealer, ready to sell the original Sennheiser CX range. Our own personal ebay seller sounds good to me. As I said, these things take time to set up. In the meantime lsmart100 still needs to make a living.

After my scathing remarks about my case with lsmart100, and after he continued to press me for positive feedback, I’ve actually asked him to reconsider his activities and to be someone we can all trust. As visitors and regulars to fakeheadphones.com, we are all looking for one thing, someone we all know and trust to sell us genuine headphones. I’ve asked lsmart100 to do exactly that, to be our main supplier of genuine headphones. I’m going to email Sennheiser and ask for their help.

ka2me has just posted on head-fi the story of buying fake Sennheiser IE8’s from the ebay seller ieverise86 . If you look at the negative feedback given by ka2me, there’s the old and tired excuse from the seller.

The only problem with a response like that from a seller, is that ieverise86 has gone on to sell more pairs of Sennheiser IE8’s to others, for the same suspiciously and obviously counterfeit price of well under $100.

The Excuse

The excuse of, “I need to check with suppliers” and “My suppliers have sold me fake” implyuing that the seller knows nothing about it, is just pure garabge, and in my experience of buying fake headphones, it’s and excuse they ebay sellers use.

Sennheiser IE8 price in Australia

If you have a look on headphonic, which is one of the most reputable online headphone stores that I know of, the Sennheiser IE8 retail for $548 (AUS). Now that’s a lot of money, but there’s one overriding redeeming feature about the price, and that’s the Sennheiser’s authenticity.

At below $100, like this joker ieverise86 has got them priced at, you’re taking an unnecessary risk with your hard earned. Don’t do it!

Other Suspiciously low priced headphones from ieverise86

Looks like there are some other interestingly priced headphones from ieverise86 including a pair of Sennheiser IE7’s for $29.50 and a pair of Bose IE’s for $54.50. Like they’re going to be genuine. Again according to headphonic, the IE7’s retail for $380.00 and according to the Bose website, the Bose In Ear retail for $149.00
