This one still perplexes me!
Out of all the popular earphones to copy why this one. When thinking about earphones ans canal phones Bang and Olufsen hardly springs to mind, and that’s coming from a Bang and Olufsen owner. Sennheiser CX range? certainly. Shure’s? Maybe. But Bag and Olufsen?
But the problem still remains. They are small, and the small stuff is easy to copy. Coupled with the fact the Bang and Olufsen is quite (quite) a prestigious name in the market, maybe it’s easy to see why instead of paying a sub $160, you could get away with paying next to nothing and then boast to your colleagues that you’ve got the a semi prestigious pair of expensive headphones. Deep down though, you know you’ve got a pair of fakes, that sound terrible and nothing like the real thing
